Notice of Receipt of Tax Roll & Warrant

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The undersigned, the collector of taxes of the Town of Madrid, has received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes for the Town of Madrid for the fiscal year January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.

Location: Taxes are received at the Town Office (3529 County Route 14) during usual business hours (9 AM - 12 PM and 12:30 PM - 3 PM, Monday – Thursday).

 

Penalty-Free Period: Taxes may be paid without interest on or before the thirty-first day of January.

 

Interest: Taxes received after the penalty-free period shall have interest added at the rate of one percent (1%) for each month or fraction thereof until the return of unpaid taxes to the County Treasurer on June 2, 2026.
