Celebrate Madrid’s 225th anniversary with us at "Madrid Memories"! Join your neighbors on Friday, September 25, at 6:00 PM in the Community Room at the Hepburn Library of Madrid. We’ll be sharing local stories, town history, and delicious birthday cake. This event is free and open to everyone. Come share your memories and help us mark 225 years of community!

Step Up for a Cause: Join the Community Breast Cancer Walk!
Join us for the Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, from 11 AM–2 PM at the MWCS Track in Madrid, NY! Entry is $25 per person and includes an event T-shirt. All proceeds benefit the Pink Aid Foundation, providing critical financial support to patients during treatment. Enjoy local food trucks, raffle baskets, and community fun. Organized by the Madrid-Waddington & Norwood-Norfolk Key Clubs and Norwood Kiwanis. Register today and let's walk together for a cause!

Mother's Day All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast
Celebrate Mom at the Madrid Community Building on Sunday, May 10th! From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast featuring pancakes, French toast, sausage, and more. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children (5-10); kids under 5 eat free. Take-out is available. Best of all, all proceeds benefit the Madrid Community Park Fund. Come enjoy a great meal while supporting our local parks!

2026 Tentative Assessment Roll Now Available
The Town of Madrid’s Tentative Assessment Roll is now available for public review. Property owners are encouraged to examine their property's valuation to ensure it accurately reflects current market value. You can view the roll digitally on our Assessment Info page or in person at the Town Office. For those wishing to contest their valuation, please review the grievance procedures and deadlines found in the "How to Appeal" section.

Madrid Youth Baseball & Softball Signups
Registration is now open for the 2026 Madrid Baseball and Softball season. Programs are available for children ages 4 and up, ranging from T-ball through 6th grade. The cost is $20 per child or $50 for families with three or more children. Please download the signup form and return it to the Madrid Town Office by the April 10th deadline. In-person signups are highly encouraged to ensure your child’s spot on a team.

Goose Patrol Begins 4/1
Goose patrol will begin April 1st at the Madrid Park and boat launch. This includes using dogs and noise deterrents to help safely keep the geese from taking over the area so that our residents may safely use the area.
